Got Sausage ("we," "us") operates gotsausage.shop and sells dachshund-themed merchandise to customers in the United States. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Order & contact information — your name, email, phone, and shipping address, so we can process and ship your order.
• Payment information — processed securely by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number.
• Automatically-collected usage data — when you visit the site, cookies and similar technologies collect information such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken (e.g. viewing a product, adding to cart, purchasing).

Cookies & tracking technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the store, remember your cart, understand how the site is used, and support our advertising (described below). You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how the site works.

Advertising and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel

We use the Meta Pixel, a tool provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. (Facebook and Instagram). The Meta Pixel collects information about your interactions with our site — such as pages you view and actions like adding items to your cart or completing a purchase — and shares that information with Meta. We use it to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, to understand how visitors use our site, and to show you relevant ads (including retargeting) on Meta's platforms and elsewhere.

How we use your information

To process and fulfill orders, provide customer support, send order and shipping updates, operate and improve the site, and — with your consent where required — send marketing emails and deliver relevant advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money.

Who we share it with

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Klaviyo — email marketing (only if you opt in) and order-related analytics.
• Meta Platforms — advertising and measurement, via the Meta Pixel (see above).
• Shipping & email providers — to deliver your order and send you updates.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.

Your choices

• Interest-based ads: adjust your ad preferences in your Facebook/Instagram settings, and opt out of many advertisers via the DAA and NAI opt-out tools.
• Cookies: block or delete them in your browser settings.
• Marketing email: unsubscribe any time using the link in our emails.

California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access or deletion, to correct it, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our use of advertising cookies such as the Meta Pixel may be considered "sharing" under California law. To exercise any of these rights, or to opt out, email us at gotsausage@bitcardinal.com. Data retention

We keep order information as long as needed to fulfill orders, provide support, and meet legal and tax obligations, then delete or anonymize it.

Children

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
